When should my child start PSLE tuition?
Most families begin in Primary 5 when the syllabus deepens significantly. Some start in P4 for foundation-building. The best time depends on your child's current level — our advisors can assess and recommend the ideal starting point.
How does the PSLE AL scoring system work?
Each subject is graded AL1 (best, 90+ marks) to AL8 (below 20 marks). Your total PSLE Score is the sum of all 4 subject ALs, ranging from 4 to 32. This score determines Secondary 1 Posting Group and school placement.
Does Aspire Hub offer PSLE mock exams?
Yes. Our Mock Examination Programme includes P3–P6 students. We conduct exam-condition sittings using real past-year papers, followed by detailed marking and personalised feedback.
What is the difference between weekly tuition and the ACE programme?
Weekly tuition provides consistent, year-round support. The ACE Programme is an intensive revision series (usually in the final months) focused on high-impact exam techniques, led by senior coaches including former PSLE examiners.
How does Aspire Hub coach P5 and P6 students differently?
P5 coaching focuses on mastering the syllabus jump and introducing advanced answering techniques. P6 coaching shifts towards exam readiness, timed practice, and managing the compressed revision timeline leading to the national exams.
How do I choose between Foundation and Standard subjects?
Foundation subjects are graded AL A–C (mapped to AL6–8 for posting). Standard subjects are graded AL1–8. The choice is made in consultation with your child's school. Our coaches support both levels with appropriate materials.
