Building the algebraic and geometric foundations that underpin all of secondary school mathematics. Our Sec 1–2 coaching covers the full MOE syllabus for both G3 (Express) and G2 (Normal Academic) tracks.
All content is aligned with the requirements set out in the G3 Mathematics Syllabus (4052) and G2 Mathematics Syllabus (4045) published by the Ministry of Education Singapore.
G3 Express or G2 Normal Academic?
Both tracks cover the same three mathematical strands — Number & Algebra, Geometry & Measurement, and Statistics & Probability — but differ in pace, depth, and examination format.
Faster pace, deeper algebraic content, quadratic equations introduced in Sec 2.
G3 Express — Sec 1 & 2 Overview
Lower Secondary G3 (Express) Mathematics lays the algebraic and geometric foundations students will build on throughout secondary school. At Sec 1–2, the focus is on developing number sense, introducing algebra as a language, and building spatial reasoning through geometry. Students are expected to move from arithmetic thinking to algebraic thinking — a critical transition that Aspire Hub coaches students through with clarity and confidence.

Lower Secondary performance is not directly examined at O-Level, but the foundation built in Sec 1–2 is critical for success in the Upper Secondary syllabus and the eventual O-Level examination.

Exam Technique from Day One
We introduce proper mathematical presentation and answering technique from Sec 1, so students develop good habits early and are not scrambling to learn exam skills in Sec 3–4.
Structured pacing, strong scaffolding, linear focus in Sec 1 with algebra building in Sec 2.
G2 Normal Academic — Sec 1 & 2 Overview
Lower Secondary G2 (Normal Academic) Mathematics shares many foundational topics with G3 but is paced differently, with additional scaffolding to support students in building a strong conceptual base. At Sec 1–2, the focus is on number sense, basic algebra, and geometry. G2 students benefit greatly from coaching that reinforces understanding and builds confidence, as these early years set the trajectory for their N(A)-Level performance.
