About the GOLD Programme

GOLD (Go For O-Level Distinction) is Aspire Hub’s dedicated O-level preparation programme for Secondary 4 and 5 students. Designed to accelerate results in the crucial final stretch before the national examinations, GOLD delivers targeted, high-impact sessions that cut straight to what matters — the topics most likely to appear, the techniques examiners reward, and the answering skills that separate a pass from a distinction.

Each subject is delivered across two sessions of 2.5 hours each (5 hours total), with all learning materials included at no additional cost. Students may enrol in any combination of subjects.

Session 1 – Oral Communication: Oral format (1184/1190), recurring themes, compelling points, vocabulary & sentence structures

Session 2 – Listening Comprehension: LC format, listening & annotation strategies, active listening habits

Chinese

Session 1 – Email & Composition Writing Skills: Outline strategies, grasping the prompt essence（题眼）, current affairs responses

Session 2 – Comprehension Skills: Question identification, keyword extraction, open-ended phraseology

E-Math

Session 1: Patterns, Proportions & Mensuration – cross-topic algebraic expressions, unconventional phrasing

Session 2: Graphs, Coordinate Geometry & Congruency and Similarity – contextual graphs, cartesian cross-topics

A-Math

Session 1: Trigonometry & Differentiation Techniques – Trig equations/identities, Chain/Product/Quotient rules

Session 2: Application of Differentiation & Integration Techniques – maxima/minima, rate of change, area calculations

Pure Chemistry

2 sessions · 5 hrs

Session 1: Acids/Bases/Salts, Redox, Metals & Electrolysis – reactivity series, oxidising/reducing agents, electrolysis products

Session 2: Organic Chemistry – homologous series reactions, combined concept questions (Bonding, Stoichiometry, Energy)

Social Studies

Online Only

2 sessions · 5 hrs

Session 1 – Source-Based Case Study (SBCS): Purpose, Utility, Reliability, Surprise & Hybrid question types; 35/50 marks coverage

Session 2 – Structured Response Questions: Q6 & Q7 paragraph technique, all three SS issues

Note: Chinese is a two-day programme with 4 hours conducted per day. Each remaining subject runs across 4 weekday lessons of 2 hours each.

Important: The written Mother Tongue (Chinese) O-level 2026 paper is on Tuesday, 2 June 2026. The GOLD Chinese sessions are held in advance on 1 May 2026 to ensure timely preparation.

Early Bird Promotion ends Tuesday, 31 March 2026. Each subject consists of 2 sessions × 2.5 hours. All learning materials are included. Limited in-person slots available — register early.

New Students: One-time registration and material fees are waived. If new students subsequently enrol in Term 3 (29 June – 13 September 2026), they receive a 50% discount on the one-time registration and material fee.
